This privacy policy sets out how The Drake Trust (The Trust) uses and protects any information that you give us.

The Trust may change this policy from time to time. We will inform you of any substantial changes and will also update this page. This policy is effective from 1 st December 2020.

What information we hold

We collect and process various categories of personal information, including basic information such as name and contact details, and information relating to grants given.

We may use the information we hold about you in the following way:

To contact you in relation to your grant; or to follow up for feedback having used your grant. We do like to keep a record of how grants have helped those receiving them, and we might ask you if you are willing to share your experience for use on our website, possibly along with a photo, and only with your consent.

The legal basis for this is that it is a legitimate use.

Please let us know if the personal information that we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated.

Retaining and deleting your personal data:

Personal data that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes. After such time, we will either delete or anonymise your information or, if this is not possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible.
